Brownie Recipe!!

Today I made super rich brownies- They were really good and they didn't take too long to make either. So here's the recipe, and I hope you try it out.

Ingredients:

  • 5 Tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 1 Cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs and one egg yolk
  • 3/4 Cup of 100% cocoa powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon salt
  • 1/6 Teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 Cup all purpose flour
  • 1 Tablespoon of corn starch
  • Chocolate chips of your choice
Instructions:
  1. Pre-heat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and butter a brownie or cake pan (I used a cake pan)
  2. Thinly slice butter and place in a microwave safe bowl together with the granulated sugar for 1 minute and 20 seconds, or until the butter has completely melted.
  3. In a bigger bowl combine eggs, egg yolk and the vanilla extract, then add the melted butter and sugar
  4. Add the cocoa powder into the bowl and mix until well combined
  5. Mix the salt, baking soda, flour and corn starch in a separate bowl; Add half of the dry mixture into the bigger bowl and stir- Then add the other half (If added all at once all the flour won't be well combined)
  6. Add as many chocolate chips of your choice at the end- I used dark chocolate- You can also top it off with chocolate chips once it's in the baking pan
  7. Add the chocolate mixture into your buttered pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a slight amount of the brownie on it- If the toothpick comes out completely clean then the brownie is overcooked
  8. Allow the brownie to completely cool before taking it out of the pan, cutting and serving
And that's the recipe. It wasn't too complicated and the brownies came out really good. The longest part of it was waiting for them to bake. I hope you try this recipe yourself and enjoy it.   :)
