Banana Bread

 It's been a while since my last post, but I'm back!! Today's recipe is banana bread!! I've wanted to post this one for a while but I've just never had time. So here I am to share the recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 1 stick of unsalted room temperature butter
  • 1 cup of sugar (brown or white work)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 very ripe bananas
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt 
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 & 1/3 cup of flour
  • Optional: 1/3 cup of walnuts or pecans


Instructions:

  1.  Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and butter a loaf pan
  2. Mash the ripe bananas and beat the eggs then stir them together
  3. With an electric mixer, cream together the unsalted butter (cut into cubes to make this easier) and the sugar 
  4. Combine the banana egg mixture with the butter mixture in a large bowl
  5. Add the salt, baking soda into the large bowl
  6. Slowly add the flour, 1/3 cup at a time, and mix thoroughly
  7. This is step is optional: fold in the walnuts or pecans after mixing the batter
  8. Pour the batter into a loaf pan and bake for 35-45 minutes
  9. Allow the bread to cool for at least 10 minutes then enjoy!!
